Kingo´s Treat
Kingo’s Treat is the debut album from Norwegian musician Fredrik Svabø, a project over five years in the making. Known for his work with Aurora, Beharie, Brian Eno, Sigrid, Arif, and more, Svabø has crafted a unique blend of jazz, pop, and R&B, shaped by his years in the studio and on stage.
The album is both deeply personal and highly collaborative, with vocalist Thea Wang adding heart and depth to songs exploring love, doubt, and new beginnings. Drawing inspiration from Blake Mills, D’Angelo, Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, Bill Frisell, and others, Svabø creates a sound that’s both expansive and intimate.
Kingo’s Treat moves freely between improvisation and sharp pop melodies, making it a must-have for true music lovers.
